Good News for the Caregiving Industry
There’s good news on the horizon for in-home caregivers and personal care aides. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of job opportunities is expected to rise by 850,000. This is due to the growing group of those aging Baby Boomers and the demand for in-home services and the desire to age-in-place. This is a marked increase, from approximately 4.68 million workers in 2025 to 5.52 million in 2035, showing an 18% increase, or approximately 847,300 new jobs.
